Scholarship winners meeting with the Minister of Labour. AKP
Ith Samheng, Minister of Labour, said that investment in human resources, education and skills training has increased.
At the same time, the government also established cooperation with friendly countries, seeking scholarships, as well as making it easier for young people to continue their education.
The Minister held a talk with 24 winners of the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid (JDS) 2022-2023 at the Ministry yesterday. “Currently, Cambodia has more and more capable human resources at all levels, a high-quality resource that has been involved in work in all areas, both public and private,” said the Minister.
He also praised the ability of the young officials who passed these scholarship exams and said that this is a huge potential to participate in the development of the country in line with the policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia, which focuses on human resource development.
Minister Samheng also shared the experience of employment and vocational training, with priority programs being implemented, including: improving working conditions and harmony in professional relations, modernizing the technical and vocational education and training system.
