Human resource a necessity for society, says Minister of Labour

Minister of Labour Ith Samheng said that human resources are necessary for society and the building of human resource is the key success factor of an enterprise.
The minister made the remark while presiding over the Human Resources Forum 2023 organized by EuroCham Cambodia and the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA) yesterday morning.
Samheng are the main capital of each enterprise in achieving productive and sustainable business operations. The minister emphasized that the Royal Government has identified human resource development as a priority in the Rectangular Strategy and human resource development has become the first priority in the Rectangular Strategy, Phase 3 and 4.
“Human resources in Cambodia have a lot of manpower, but the skills to meet the needs of the companies are still limited,” the minister said.
He affirmed that in response to these gaps, the Ministry of Labour has been actively involved through technical and vocational education and training, The Royal Government has set a goal to provide opportunities for people and young people in poor families to learn all kinds of vocational skills.
