About the Role
Design, implement and maintain network topologies and network solutions that meet the company needs
Configure network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, etc.
Troubleshoot network issues and resolve problems.
Monitor network performance and security. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Ensure network security by implementing security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion
Provide technical support to users.
Stay up to date on the latest network technologies by reading industry publications, attending
Work with a team of IT professionals to ensure that the company's IT network infrastructure is reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in IT network engineering
Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP, VPN, SSL, etc..
Strong knowledge of network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills
A qualified network engineer will have a background in IT, networking systems engineering and analysis
