About the Role

  • Set strategic version and develop the strategic priorities and plan in coordination with the BODs

  • Ensure execution of the strategic plan and meet goals set forth BODs

  • Manage and control the day-to-day affairs of the company

  • Ensure talent is aligned with the organizational version and strategic plan; ensure the organizational culture is strong

  • Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall direction

  • Leading the development and implementation of the overall organization strategy

  • Continuously propose the basis and scope of insurance products and pricing of life products for market competitiveness

  • Responsible for Directing, Coordinating & growing the Life Insurance Business; identifying new business

  • Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business or organization

  • Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure and talent

  • Participate in the development & preparation of short-term and long-range plans based on the strategic plans & objectives

  • Direct the implementation of policies and ensure the attainment of objectives

  • Overseeing the success of the organization in reaching its goals

  • To implement all requirements from IRC to obtain official approval

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; continuing education, MBA or industry certification (preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic growth-oriented roles with life insurance industry

  • Robust experience in setting and implementing the strategic direction for distribution activities, including

  • Demonstrated success in identifying and pursing new and evolving market opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to bring technology advances to improve the business proposition

  • Strong leadership skills, flexible, assertive and result driven

  • Business acumen, Strategic thinker with ability to make sound decisions for the business
